ANT is fidgety today. He got himself a computer last week, and this week he ordered a cable modem. Problem is, they won't be here til Fri. He's the very impatient type. If he sees something he wants, he wants it NOW. Not 2 days from NOW.
He's still a computer newbie. Has no clue what sort of Pandora's Box he's about to unleash once he gets it. I've been attempting over the last couple of days to guide him on certain aspects of computers and what he could expect on the 'Net.
Well, he's not a total newbie. He did have WebTV a couple years ago, but that isn't the same as having a case sitting next to you filled with whatever you may happen to find.

ANT is fidgety today. Someone get me a tranquilzer gun.

I like to think of myself as an information junkie. Not the kind that has to sit in front of the TV and watch news networks 24/7 (besides you can only watch the same crap so much). I love to read, and i will read just about anything that interests me at the time.
Anyway, during one of my excursions thru cyberspace, i came across a phrase that piqued my curiousity.
'Information broker'
Today i decided to do some research on that phrase so i Googled my way around trying to learn as much as i could during my 'dead time' here at work. 90 minutes later my mind was satiated but hurt. As i was doing my normal 'work' thing, the phrase 'brain sprain' came to mind. Naturally, when the opportunity arose i came back for another Google-fest trying to see if i could find the origination of that phrase. Unfortunately, all i came up with was a game called 'Brain Sprain' that was being sold all over, but i did find this weblog article which, i thought, was rather interesting.
