STATUS: Work

From the 'Who Cares' Department: Brittney Spears admits not being a virgin
Well, that certainly clears my mind. Maybe i can sleep now.
Come on, who really cares whether she 'did it' with Justin? The mothers of impressionable daughters i guess. Those who look up to Miss Spears and idolize her, wanting to be 'just like her.' They see this article and say to themselves, 'If she can do it, so can I.' Then this time next year we'll be hearing a story about teenage pregnancy on the rise. That is, unless the mothers mobilize, sit down with their young ones, and have 'the Talk.'

STATUS: Home (and bored)

Not much in the way of news today it seems (at least the news i'm more interested in). Went to the hangout to see what the Holland members were saying about Sensation. They've been rather quiet about it. More than likely they are talking more in their own member section in Danish, but out in the public boards not much is being said. Much hype was made about a tune Armin van Buuren spun at the beginning of his set, a remix he did of Gabriel and Dresden pres. Motorcyle- As The Rush Comes (Armin van Buuren remix). Had been hyped up before anyone really had a chance to hear it til last night. Now, there are mixed reviews about it. Some say it's lived up to the hype, some say it's not really that good. Well, once i get a chance to hear the broadcasted set someone recorded, i can make my own decision about it.

Have to get up real early in the morning. Boss from 2nd job is off and i have to go in and play weekend catch-up. Oh well, such is life.

STATUS: Home (and sleepy)
Well, here it is 2:30am and i'll be working in about 5 hours. Been surfing around trying to catch up on the lastest.

Holland just finished their big dance party called Sensation, the White Edition (people have to dress in white, and the music is more trancy, uplifting). Went to my hangout to get the general consensus of how it went. I would have been listening to it myself, but, alas, my computer was stolen back in February. The boss at my morning job is letting me borrow his laptop (which i'm using now, a Pentium II....slooooow) and it doesn't have a sound card in it. *sigh*
Anyway, it sounds like all in all it was a good party. Sometimes makes me wish to be in Europe when all this is happening. Where i'm at, we don't get stuff like that. Hell, we're not even lucky to have someone as well-known as Tiesto or Armin van Buuren come here (well, we did have Hybrid and Max Graham here last year, but missed them both cuz of work).
Over in Miami, Sander Kleinenberg was spinning at Space34, and yesterday Tiesto spun for the holiday (based on feedback, he was exhausted, and didn't make as big impression as he normally does. Makes me wonder how big-name European DJ's can keep such a hectic schedule. Here in America one week, Europe the next, Israel the next, etc.). Anyway, a good time was had by all lucky bas....er, participants who managed to go see it.
*sigh* maybe someday i'll be fortunate enough to check out a live performance. Until then, i'll have to rely on the net to appease my taste.
