Reading in the latest Wired magazine about a new high-tech form of scavenger hunts being done all over the country, with the winners going to the National Championships and winning $50,000 (called the Urban Challenge ) reminded me of a movie I saw 2 or 3 times when i was a kid, called Midnight Madness which i thoroughly enjoyed. I haven't seen it lately, but it reminded of me wishing to someday do something like that later in life. Good flick, by the way.

FAQ 2
To get the first FAQ go here
How did you come up with the name LordCrimson?: Started back in the late 90's. Was hanging out on IRC in a #vampire chatroom a friend told me about. I originally started out as NiteOwl but that is such a common name so i thought i'd creat a different nick. 'Blood' and 'Red' was prevalent on IRC so i used the next best thing.
Any relation to KingCrimson?: No. At the time i thought this up, i wasn't aware there was a band named KingCrimson.
Married?: No, i'm single, never married, no girlfriend, no children
Why not?: For now i'm just too busy to get into a relationship, however i do have a few female friends i talk to from time to time. Marissa, a former exotic dancer, i email when the mood strikes me. Very sweet personality. Have known her off and on since around '89 from the clubs here. Kristen, very lovely woman, i talk when i see her at work (she is a dancer). Jade, well, i used to talk to her at the club (yes, she was a dancer also) til she moved to Florida a couple weeks ago. I still miss her.
You go to the strip clubs? You're that hard up to see naked women?: God, NO! I've been hanging out in clubs like that for many years and i feel much more comfortable than going to a regular dance club. I'm weird, I know.
Do you have ANY friends that don't dance for a living?: A few, not many. I talk to a couple people i went to high school with, and there are a couple people where i live now i see sometimes, but for the most part, i keep to myself.
Don't you get lonely?: Yeah, there are times i wished i had someone who i could talk to but my life is so hectic as it is i don't think about it much.

Things i've seen in RL (real life) i found out of the ordinary:
- A PT Cruiser taxi cab
- A BMW taxi cab
- A PT Cruiser hotel shuttle (at least i think it was a shuttle. It had the hotel logo on the side)
- hearing a 9 year-old comment about another woman's outfit....'wasn't that hideous?'
(kind of reminds me when i was about 4 or 5 and told my brother he was 'impossible.' He lauged at me, of course.)
- a metallic yellow VW Beetle (how grotesque it looked)

Was reading our local entertainment newspaper and one of our local film critic's picked this as a DVD of the week:
Jesus Christ, Vampire Hunter
Now, it seems to me, if He did come back and this actually happened (humor me please) wouldn't the movie be over in, like, 5 minutes?
